We are a husband and wife team
specialising in
yacht management of personally owned yachts in the Turkish village of Göcek.
Our aim is to provide a service, second to none, looking after your yacht and all it’s
systems and your needs before, during and after your stay in Turkey. |

Dean
Yacht Management will act as your representative ensuring that the yacht is
kept in tiptop condition and ready for use when needed. |
 |
We have experience of managing yachts
from our time working in the yacht charter industry in Turkey since 1997. For
the last 5 years we have been managing a fleet of 31 privately owned yachts in
charter management for one of the UK’s leading yacht charter companies,
specialising in Turkey and in particular Göcek. |

Nigel Dean. Born 1966, has a sound mechanical
knowledge gained working in the heavy goods vehicle trade. He used this
knowledge to gain a place working in the Antarctic for the British Antarctic
Survey keeping a wide range of mechanical machinery working in a remote and
hostile environment for 3 winters (a total of 46 months). In recognition of this
work he received the “Polar Medal” from HM the Queen. After a short time traveling
in South America he worked for the Royal Greenwich Observatory on La
Palma in the Canary Islands. He was responsible for a project to improve the
performance of their largest telescope on the island. This is where an interest
in larger sailing boats was taken up, including the buying and re fitting of a
36ft ex racing yacht, Penola (now based in Göcek). |
 | Alex Dean. Born 1970, has a good understanding
of
how a yacht and owner should be looked after, having worked along side Nigel in
the yacht charter industry since 1997. She has a degree in Civil Engineering and
worked for a major civil engineering company in the UK until she was whisked
away to Turkey to take up a career looking after yachts.
Although like Nigel she began her sailing in dinghies on inland waters
she has crewed, skippered and helped refit their own yacht Penola.
|
 | We have good contacts and knowledge of operating yachts in Turkey and in
particular Göcek, which we personally believe to be one if not the best place
in the Mediterranean to own a yacht.
